![]() " have often had a mode with little resemblance to the main tekken, or modes geared towards advanced players." "Regarding the fine details, I'm hoping we can talk abotu the fine detail in the interview, but let's go for a brief overview." ![]() "Another big feature of this one is what we're calling "Fight Lab" (?)" "Not only do we have new characters, we will also have new stages available, one of which, Brazil, will be in your press packets." "I told him to shut up and he's taken three years on his game, so he should worry about himself again" "So much, in fact, that Itagaki-san said "That's a bit too much, isn't it, Harada?"" Not only that, we also will have new characters just for the consoles, probably even more than you can imagine." "We've also added some new characters since Tekken 6. So this really is the ultimate tag package." "You have the traditional one on one tag fights, the one on one fights, and the all new one v two. "One thing that's completely new is 1 v 2 match formats, so that really stands out about this product." Another thing that stands out: the one-on-one mode is also included. "The tag element has changed quite a bit. "We're going to talk about Tag 2, but it's been 12 years from the original and it's evolved from the original, so let's talk about that." "I know you guys are tired from the presentation and all that, but please wait to drink: I am going to tell you about Ono's deviant practices and his home life, and that will take two hours, so please wait." I actually haven't played Tekken for a few years apart from the Prologue collection I picked up a bit back.Quote "Today I am talking about our latest installment, and we are handing out champagne, but please wait until I am done to sip." in reply to OP about thread beeing meaningless - absolutely not, I like to find that there is still a gamer inside me that's oblivious of trophies when it comes to old favorites and just wants to talk game, not trophies (of course I'm gonna be going for trophies, always do, but with some of my favorite games, they just happen, not important until I go for the Plat ). There are folks there I love seeing in action and some interesting team-ups to try out, so I'll be running my King / x team along some random pickings. with every single damn character in those games, in every iteration. min 2 Arcade Runs, Survival & Timetrial leaderboard runs etc. In Tag1 I used to team him up with either Michelle, Paul, Hworang or Baek depending on how I intended to play.īut the last two games I've been really slacking on trying out the new characters, instead of back in the day where I dedicated at least a whole day incl. King has been my main since original Tekken, and I'm sure gonna be using him again. Probably pointless of a thread to make, but just a matter of curiousity of which character(s) people will be playing as once this comes out (be it just the 1 character you've always played since previous Tekken games and picking a second you've always liked but never bothered playing due to your main choice, or if you plan on taking the top tier characters, etc.) I'm not too great of a player overall, but honestly, Tekken's the only fighter I'm really interested in when it comes to Fighting games (though I only started to take it a little more seriously a few months ago). Have Ancient Ogre, Bruce and maybe Angel planned to learn once the game comes out though. I have Bryan as my main (I'm ok with him I guess, but not very good at pulling the Knee Taunt off, but I try at least), while learning Asuka & Yoshimitsu as subs (been playing a lot of Tekken 6 for practice and such). Basically which character(s) are you going for? Doesn't matter if you'll be taking the game seriously (or try to take the game seriously like I will be) or just going for the platinum and stopping/playing your next game, just a matter of which one/two are you going for? (I say one also since you can play the game with just 1 character rather than 2, judging by the 1v2 option) Seeing as though as it's coming close to release, I figured I'd just ask this.
